CRANES AND BOOM TOWERS
A boom lift is a special machine used to lift work crews, tools or equipment.
Truck-mounted aerial platforms are widely used in all areas of activity where high-altitude work must be performed directly by humans using hand tools and materials:
- construction, installation and maintenance of communications;
- work on placing outdoor advertising (billboards, banners, signs);
- improvement of the territory and houses (tree pruning, window washing);
- installation and maintenance of overhead power lines.
Crawler Cranes
Crawler cranes are used for loading and unloading, construction, and installation work, and are widely employed in power engineering, both at prefabrication sites and during equipment installation. The advantage of crawler cranes is that they require no special site preparation due to their low ground pressure, are maneuverable, and can rotate on the spot with or without a load. During equipment installation, they can raise the assembly to a vertical position and then move it to the design elevation.
LOADERS AND BULLDOZERS
A front-end loader is an indispensable piece of specialized equipment used for unloading, loading, gripping, and moving various building materials (crushed rock, sand, stone, gravel, etc.). This type of machine is used in quarrying and earthmoving operations.
Crawler bulldozers are used for the following tasks: site planning; preparing pits and trenches for utility lines; leveling embankments after using other equipment; and clearing areas of debris and snow.
EXCAVATORS
An excavator is a highly productive piece of special equipment that is often used for quarrying and construction of various facilities.
Planning of horizontal surfaces;
Extraction of sand and soil;
Digging trenches, canals, pits;
Development of soil under a layer of water;
Finishing of slopes and surfaces of pits and trench walls;
Unloading excavated soil into vehicles;
OTHER EQUIPMENT
A lowboy is a specialized vehicle with a low-deck platform instead of a body. It has a high load capacity, low-profile wheels, and no sidewalls. It's important to position the load correctly and ergonomically on the platform.
Road milling machines are large-sized machines designed for milling and layer-by-layer removal of worn and damaged road surfaces.
Trailers and tractors are used for most types of freight transportation (e.g., transporting long loads). These structures are indispensable for transporting construction materials and equipment, as well as various factory and prefabricated structures.
